If you want to obsess over a world and the gut wrenching love story that it revolves around - this book is for you.' (FIVE STARS) lets not even talk about how much i cried during this book. and not just one two tears im talking full on body shakes, need to take a break bc i cant see, the pain is too much and the tears wont stop. embarrassing. get a grip. omg he has 22 tattoos about her and she’s thinking about them while having sex with another man? they’re soulmates💗. All my best nights, all my worst ones, all are with him and I wonder if this is the point. This is what I’m swimming towards: not just in love with him but a whole wonderful, terrifying, beautiful, painful life with him. just tell me, how from all the spermatozoids their fathers spilled these cunts were the ones who made it? HOW?

also as w every book in this series/universe, there are many typos/grammatical mistakes and extensive run-ons that can make it quite frustrating to read. also still skipping over all the clothing brand/fabric/blahblah clothing details. far too many too frequently and my non-fashion interested self can’t be bothered since it’s not like i can create an image w the descriptions anyway, and i’m far too lazy to google every damn description All my best nights, all my worst ones, all are with him and I wonder if this is the point. This is what I'm swimming towards: not just in love with him but a whole wonderful, terrifying, beautiful, painful life with him.”if i had to describe my experience with this book in a single word, it would definitely be paradoxical. first, the writing at the beginning was, to say the least, disconcerting and perplexing, even a bit anticlimactic. adjusting to the peculiar atmosphere of the friends group and Parks & Beej's unconventional dynamics and relationship required some time. but at the end, if it wasn't for the hypnotizing writing and the author’s brillant plume with the malleable way she thrown the reader in the middle of the protagonists lives as if we already knew them and every drama suffocating the Londonien aristocracy’s quotidien, i would have abandoned the ship long before. It's been nearly a year since everything happened between Magnolia Parks and BJ Ballentine on the steps of the Mandarin Oriental, and it seems like everything since then has changed. dysfunctional is an euphemism to depict their bond. even thought they’re toxic as a duo, i am convinced that bj is the only real deficient variable in their equation. the hypocrisy, the 'why he did what he did' and the green jealousy excuses he painted to be an execrable 'friend' to Magnolia were so irritatingly recurrent throughout the storytelling. i honestly didn’t like his personage or the man-whore aura he carried around or his woman palmarès. yes, i know there’s more to what he did and why he did than the blatant lie he used at Parks like a boomerang every time she wanted to understand why he broke them and her in the process. and the only thing i reproach Magnolia is that she was weak whenever Bj was involved and it’s meager in the balance of "who is more to blame" during their current and ex-relationship . im relived the final revelation exploded their lives the way it did. even if i felt the betrayal deep in my bones. Magnolia needed that to trace a definitive point and break the "bj-spell" or more like bury the corpses of what remained of them? He grabs my wrists and holds them tight and I don’t want him to let them go because I’m scared of what happens when he does. “Oh, is that what you want now?” he yells, and we’re devolving.

It's gotten easier over the years. Funny with pain, how it propagates itself, grows into you, becomes a part of you. Shapes you a bit.” jessa hastings how do you sleep at night? how do you snuggle up in bed knowing you broke OUR HEARTS 💔 i’ll never be the same, a day will never go by without me thinking about this entire book. i love this book and i hate it at the same time because how does something cause me joy from one minute to immense suffering? 😔 my plot to steal that manuscript is set and i hope she knows i’m out for it. Magnolia Parks is probably the only book/series in which EVERY SINGLE character needs to either go to a therapist or a mental facility [for blowjob, it's all of the above]

Gossip Girl, Colleen Hoover, Made in Chelsea and Euphoria - and bound to be your new obsession in 2023. bj ballentine. i have a hate-like relationship with him as of now. i can’t condone what he’s done nor can i excuse it, but i can appreciate the growth he’s trying to show after going through therapy and trying to actually work things out with magnolia and communicate. i will never be one of those people who’ll fully love him though; not after remembering everything he’s done. 😩 Also! I love the outfits and Magnolia’s fashion sense so much. She reminded me of Rose Calloway in a way. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 💅✨✨ Never have I felt more emotions reading a single book before. The angst and pure rollercoaster of emotions was real! Jessa Hastings had me crying by 10%.' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
